This internship is all about problem solving, technological investigation, and solution building. Our IT team is the body which supports the many operations of our farmer-owned cooperative and an internship in IT will advance your ability to identify problems and develop solutions in a timely and effective manner. - Serve as lead for other IT projects outside of helpdesk
- Serve as initial point of contact on customer incident requests submitted online to our ticketing system
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, VOIP and additional equipment located on-site and in branch offices
- Assist our employees via occasional on-site support
- Attempt proper resolution of incidents and service requests submitted by employees
- Upgrade and support branch and corporate applications
- Maintain knowledge of current and new technologies; research problems and related products required for assistance, when necessary
- Administer and resolve issues related to Windows operating systems
- Resolve client issues related to user account management in Windows Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Identify, investigate, and resolve users’ problems with computer software and hardware
- Communicate regularly with other members of the support team to discuss recurring problems and to share solutions and best practices
- Remediate or identify connection issues with branch networks, assist in service restoration during network outages
- Other related duties as assigned
DATA ANALYST
The Data Analyst Internship involves using Power BI to create interactive dashboards and data stories for non-technical audiences. Interns will collaborate with stakeholders and use technical skills to ensure data accuracy.
- Data Visualization: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key business metrics and trends.
- Data Storytelling: Use Power BI to create compelling data stories that effectively communicate insights to non-technical audiences.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc data analysis projects as needed, such as investigating specific business questions or testing hypotheses.
- Technical Skills: Utilize SQL, Python, R and data visualization tools like Power BI
- Attention to Detail: Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular data audits and quality checks.
