Co-Alliance Delivers FFA State Officer Team Full Experience
Dec 09, 2022
It is always a good day when the future walks through the front doors of Co-Alliance.
This week we had the honor of welcoming the Indiana State FFA Officers to our Indianapolis headquarters, as well as to our Indian Trails location. The two visits were quite different, proving the diversity of our business and the opportunity within a single company.
On Tuesday the State Officer team joined our Indianapolis office for a morning of conversation. Our goal was not to discuss tonnage, volumes, or acres. Our goal was to talk about growth. And not in plants or profits, but rather people.
Through two separate panels comprised of eight employees total, the State Officers had the opportunity to hear from our employees about their path to Co-Alliance, their day-to-day challenges and opportunities and even what they wish they’d done differently if given the opportunity to go back early in their career. Each employee made mention of the growth they’ve experienced in their professional career, whether 2 or 25 years into it. The questions, conversations and nuggets of insight gleaned from the visit were valuable and authentic, laced with laughter and serious advice.
It was our pleasure to not utilize a PowerPoint slide, but to sit down face-to-face with these FFA members and visit with them as young agriculturalists and people with an endless amount of possibilities ahead of them.
Switching gears (literally), on Friday the same seven State Officers travelled north to our Indian Trails Ag center to get a boots on the ground experience at an agronomy location. They each had the opportunity to drive an applicator machine (bucket list type of deal) and maneuver it around our location.
They learned about our liquid load out, dry fertilizer position and storage, facility efficiencies and how this location has evolved into a hub of productivity.
Co-Alliance thanks Seth, Tobias, Mary, Jenna, Gracie, Anthony and Jaden for their engaging conversation, thoughtful questions and upbeat presence throughout our time together. It was an absolute highlight for the employees of Co-Alliance!
