FFA Week: A Conversation with the Indiana State FFA Officer Team

It's always a great day
when you receive the above series of text messages
on your phone. 

At this point in the week, FFA advisors are exhausted, hundreds of young men are wondering where they left their FFA tie, and mothers of young ladies are wishing they'd bought stock in black hosiery.

National FFA Week is drawing to a close and activities are slowly winding down.

Service days
Official Dress days
Farmers Breakfast days
Barnyard Olympics days
Scavenger Hunt days

Co-Alliance thanks the advisors and officer teams for making this week such a memorable one for FFA members across our footprint. Weeks like this, full of activity and inclusion, will allow this organization to continue to grow. 

To celebrate the week, we recently invited the Indiana State FFA Officer Team to our Indianapolis headquarters for a podcast conversation. We wanted to learn more about each officer as a person, to hear about their unique background and goals and also to learn the many ways the year as a State FFA Officer has transformed them.

Wow. What a visit we had.
 

Of course, we couldn't send them back without feeding them! The team joined our Indianapolis office employees for brief introductions and lunch. We heard from so many employees following the meal how much they enjoyed visiting with the seven FFA members. 

And of course: We sent them with supper and snacks.
