Fueling Freedom Results
Jul 01, 2022
Last Friday was a big day as several of our energy stations participated in CountryMark's Fueling Freedom event just in time for Independence Day. This week we're excited to share with you the results of your contributions to this tremendous event and a few photos.
The Fueling Freedom events on June 24 raised more than $63,000 to support local National Guard Family Readiness Groups and United Service Organizations. Across Indiana, Illinois and Ohio, 34 CountryMark-branded fueling stations, including six of Co-Alliance's, participated in the event. For every gallon of fuel pumped, CountryMark and local branded dealers agreed to donate 50 cents to organizations with a mission of supporting local military families. This was the 14th year for the event.
In five hours, customers purchased over 91,000 gallons of CountryMark fuel. Additionally, customers donated over $17,000 to support American troops and their families – this was on top of the 50 cents per gallon that CountryMark and its branded dealers provided.
Co-Alliance's top selling location was Lebanon with 2886 gallons sold, giving back $312.48 to National Guard Family Readiness programs! This is a huge increase from 2021, when Lebanon sold 1522.9 gallons. Family Readiness Groups help build National Guard unit morale, build unit retention and increase participation levels in family-related unit activities.
In total, Co-Alliance's six participating stations sold 10,728 gallons of gas during Fueling Freedom and made their total donation $2,302.60 to the National Guard Family Readiness programs. This was an increase of 583 gallons from 2021!
Many thanks to all who came and fueled up to participate in such an important event.
