Keystone Recognized For Outstanding Energy Service to Members

Keystone Cooperative and its dedicated employees were recognized for their outstanding sales and service achievements at the 2024 CountryMark Awards Banquet, held on November 23rd in Indianapolis.

In total, the event celebrated 42 Petroleum Sales Representatives who collectively delivered over 60 million gallons of premium-quality CountryMark fuels, more than 200,000 gallons of professional-grade lubricants, and over 50,000 gallons of grease.


 

Keystone Cooperative’s Sales Specialists earned special recognition for their impressive accomplishments, including selling over six million gallons of liquid fuel and more than 38,000 gallons of CountryMark lubricants. Sales Specialist Zach Stookey led the team with 1.3 million gallons of CountryMark fuel sales, which was the highest in the group.

The banquet also honored six Keystone Cooperative retirees with Career Milestone Awards for their remarkable years of service, remaining true to the mission to best serve the cooperative members:

  •  Steve Linton – 28 years of service
  •  Andy Nagel – 40 years of service
  • Howard Jones – 45 years of service
  • John Bell – 18 years of service
  • Max Schaff – 35 years of service
  • Mark Brown – 43 years of service

In addition to individual honors, Keystone Cooperative was recognized as the top member cooperative in liquid fuel, lubricant, and equipment purchases. Between 2023 and 2024, Keystone purchased over 189 million gallons of CountryMark fuel, more than 563,000 gallons of lubricants, and $2.3 million in energy equipment.


The awards banquet brought together Member Energy Managers, Petroleum Sales Representatives, and Sales Specialists from nine farmer-owned Midwestern cooperatives within the CountryMark system.
