Keystone Amplifies Commitment to Indiana FFA
Jun 14, 2024
Keystone Cooperative values the opportunity to invest in the future of the agricultural industry. We accomplish this goal through a series of direct contributions ranging from academic scholarships to donations for various student-lead organizations.
One student organization that stands above the rest is Indiana FFA. This organization reaches into the hearts of over 13,000 students and the classrooms of over 200 schools. As a part of this program, seven remarkable Indiana FFA members are nominated to represent the Indiana FFA Organization for a year of dedicated service. These students work diligently to promote premier leadership, personal growth, and career success for not only themselves, but every member of their organization. This team of Indiana FFA State Officers may be nearing the end of their year of service with the 95th Annual Indiana FFA State Convention (hosted at Purdue University from June 17-20, 2024), but Keystone’s contributions to the organization have just begun! Keystone could not be more appreciative of our partnership with Indiana FFA.
This June, members from across the state will be able to witness the introduction of the Class of 2024 SEED Development Professionals during the 2nd General Session of the 95th Annual Indiana FFA State Convention (June 19, @ 9:00 am in Elliott Hall of Music). During this session, the “Living to Serve Community Awards” will be distributed, all of which have been proudly sponsored by Keystone. Students will also be able to experience what Keystone has to offer with our “What If College Isn’t For Me?” workshop (June 19), where we will dive deeper into what the SEED program has to offer at 10:45 a.m. Along with two separate booths during convention (one located within Elliott Hall of Music and one within the Stewart Center), we could not be more excited to witness the Sea of Blue Jackets this summer!
Along with our $40,000 contribution to Indiana FFA, Keystone enthusiastically promotes this remarkable student organization across the State of Indiana. Keystone Cooperative now utilizes a total of four “FFA Proud!” branded fuel tankers for the delivery of products to customers. These trucks can be found traveling around Huntington, Tipton, Indianapolis, and Vincennes. We may be biased, but we believe there is no greater sight than seeing a FFA emblem alongside a Keystone sunburst!
Keystone would like to acknowledge the incredible work Indiana FFA accomplishes, and we look forward to seeing what the future of our partnership will develop into. We believe in the future of agriculture, and Indiana FFA, we will remain centered on you!
